中国電線事情 (China Cable Circumstance)

今住んでいる付近の路地の光景です。

This is the sight of a lane which is my hotel's neighborhood.




古いアパートの密集地帯ですが、それにしてもこの電線じゃあ、どれが何の線だかわからないでしょうねぇ。

This area is thickly settled old small apartments. Even so many people live in this area, there are too many cable, it is very difficult to judge which cable is electric power, telephone, internet or others.....

編み物していて、毛糸がこんがらかった状態に似ています。
何がなにやら、さっぱり分かりません。大丈夫なんだから不思議ですね。

さすがにこれはちょっとひどいですよねー。どれがどれだかわかりません。どこかの部屋が引っ越しとかで空き家になって、そこへ入っている電線をカットするなんてことになったら、別の部屋に引き込まれている電線のほうをカットしちゃった、っていう失敗があり得ますね。

It is quite common in some old residential area, some people even hang cloth on it......

Yes, I have ever seen some cloths were hanged on cables. I think it is very difficult to maintain these cable if some electric or communication trouble occurs. However, there are many "scrap & build" for old building in Wuhan, then the situation should be better and better.
